Role Description
Centro Hotels is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie (CDP) for a full-time, on-site role at our Agartala location. The CDP will oversee their specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, managing food inventory, and maintaining hygiene standards. Responsibilities include planning and supervising meal preparation, assisting in menu creation, training and mentoring junior kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with all food safety protocols. The CDP will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to maintain and enhance our culinary offerings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in culinary techniques, food preparation, and plating
- Experience in menu planning, food presentation, and culinary innovation
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff while fostering a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences
- Relevant culinary certifications or a degree in culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory
- Previous experience in boutique hotels or fine dining establishments is a plus
