Description
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, ensuring the security and surveillance needs of our clients are met.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems and related equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing CCTV systems.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on CCTV operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of equipment and service calls.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to integrate CCTV systems with existing security infrastructure.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in handling and configuring CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related hardware.
- Strong understanding of video surveillance technologies and protocols.
- Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to CCTV systems (IP addressing, subnetting, etc.).
- Familiarity with various types of CCTV systems including analog and IP-based systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and technical issues related to CCTV installations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical support.
- Relevant certifications in CCTV installation or security systems are a plus.
