Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced AI Engineering Team Lead to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI and GenAI solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in AI/ML along with proven project leadership skills to drive high-quality, production-ready AI systems.
  • This role involves hands-on model development, architectural decision-making, mentoring engineers, and ensuring delivery excellence within an agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership :

  • Lead a team of AI/ML engineers across multiple projects and delivery phases.
  • Design and architect scalable AI/ML and GenAI solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Review model designs, experiments, and code to ensure technical quality and robustness.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and domain experts to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.

AI / ML Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Python and modern ML frameworks.
  • Build AI solutions across NLP, Computer Vision, predictive analytics, and optimization use cases.
  • Develop and integrate GenAI solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines.
  • Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimization workflows.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of AI systems in production environments.

Delivery & Collaboration

  • Own sprint planning, backlog refinement, and execution for AI projects.
  • Work closely with QA, DevOps, Product, and Cloud teams for smooth releases.
  • Track delivery progress, identify technical and delivery risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in AI engineering and MLOps.

Process & Quality

  • Drive Agile/Scrum practices with a focus on predictable and high-quality deliveries.
  • Maintain clear documentation including solution architecture, model design, and data flows.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, MLOps workflows, and cloud deployment readiness.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 810 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 23 years in a team lead role.
  • Strong expertise in :
  • Programming : Python.
  • ML Frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
  • AI Domains : NLP, Computer Vision, predictive analytics.
  • Data Engineering : ETL pipelines, feature engineering, structured & unstructured data.
  • Experience with GenAI technologies including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery, AI system architecture, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience building enterprise or SaaS-based AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI / Azure OpenAI, or open-source LLMs.
  • Exposure to MLOps practices such as model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining pipelines.
  • Domain exposure in AEC, Manufacturing, Energy, or Industrial systems is a plus.
