CCL Developer

We are looking for an experienced CCL (Cerner Command Language) Developer with strong expertise in developing, optimizing, and supporting healthcare applications using CCL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on CCL development experience and a solid understanding of Oracle Database and PL/SQL. This role is primarily focused on designing, developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing CCL solutions while leveraging Oracle SQL/PLSQL to support backend database operations. Key Responsibilities

CCL Development (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Cerner Command Language (CCL) programs, scripts, reports, and interfaces.
• Develop efficient and scalable CCL solutions supporting Oracle Health Millennium applications.
• Analyse business and clinical requirements and translate them into robust CCL solutions.
• Ensure adherence to CCL coding standards, best practices, and performance guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Query Performance & Optimisation

• Optimise complex CCL queries for performance and scalability.
• Analyse execution plans and tune CCL and Oracle SQL queries for optimal response times.
• Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks impacting CCL applications.
