Job Description

  • The CBO will define the overall BESS business strategy, identifying C&I, utility, hybrid, and microgrid opportunities.
  • You will build critical strategic partnerships across cell suppliers, PCS providers, OEMs, and technology players, including setting up an assembly roadmap.
  • The role involves hiring and building core technical, commercial, engineering, and supply‑chain teams while creating a high‑performance startup culture.
  • You will drive early revenue through flagship projects, manage financial discipline, and lead the business towards profitability within 2-3 years.

The Successful Applicant

  • You have previously built or scaled a renewable energy, battery, or energy‑tech vertical.
  • You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, transitioning from startup to scale, and working with evolving technology.
  • Strong partnership‑building skills, strategic thinking, and a calculated risk appetite are essential.
  • You think like an equity partner rather than a functional leader.
