The Scrub Nurse and Cath Lab Technician plays a dual role in supporting interventional cardiology procedures by maintaining strict aseptic techniques, assisting as a scrub during procedures, operating Cath Lab equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring safe, efficient Cath Lab operations.

• Prepare and operate Cath Lab equipment including C-arm, hemodynamic monitoring systems, contrast injectors, and monitors.
• Assist in procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker/ICD implantation, peripheral and emergency interventions.
• Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamic parameters during procedures and report abnormalities immediately.

• Scrub in for cardiac procedures and maintain a sterile field throughout.
• Prepare procedure trays, instruments, catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and closure devices.
• Anticipate procedural needs and assist cardiologists effectively during interventions.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and OT sterility protocols.
• Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care.
• Support 24/7 emergency cardiac procedures.
• Participate in on-call, night, and rotational shifts.

• Nursing: GNM / BSc Nursing with Cath Lab or cardiac OT experience

OR

• Technician: Diploma / BSc in Cath Lab Technology / Cardiac Care Technology
• 13 years of Cath Lab experience preferred (freshers with training exposure may be considered).
