Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cathlab Nurse located in Chennai. The Cathlab Nurse will provide specialized care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring patients vital signs, and ensuring post-procedure recovery. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, precise documentation, and effective collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Expertise in patient care, including pre- and post-procedure assessment and monitoring
- Proficiency in assisting during catheterization lab procedures, including diagnostic and interventional techniques
- Knowledge of infection control practices and medical safety protocols
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
- Current nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Prior experience in a catheterization lab, critical care, or a related field is highly advantageous
