Echo, Stress Test & ECG Operations
- Conduct patient assessments and explain procedures ensuring informed consent
- Prepare patients for ECG, treadmill stress tests, and echocardiography
- Monitor vitals and blood pressure during procedures
- Operate stress machine consoles and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with consultants to utilize diagnostic data effectively
- Adhere to hospital policies and infection control protocols
Cathlab Operations
- Prepare Cathlab machines and procedure rooms for interventions
- Assist patient transfers from trolleys to Cathlab tables
- Support the chief technician in operating Cathlab machines and recording ECGs/pressure tracings
- Handover reports, CDs, and test results to relevant departments
- Manage stock, billing coordination, and consignment checklists
- Report equipment issues and follow up on inventory usage
Safety, Compliance & Professional Development
- Participate in staff training including BLS and ALS recertification
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and clinical risk management policies
- Maintain professional development through workshops and seminars
- Foster teamwork and patient-centric care through effective communication
