Job Description

We are seeking a Catering Sales Manager to lead our Event Sales personnel and oversee the flawless execution of our food and beverage catered events.

In this pivotal role, you will balance strategic business development with hands-on team mentorship. Championing a collaborative spirit, you will work hand-in-hand with our Culinary and Operations teams to bridge the gap between sales vision and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to develop & execute sales strategies, to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Proactively hunt for new corporate clients, manage high-value accounts, and build long-term pipelines for repeat business.
  • Monitor competitor trends and customer feedback to recommend innovative, profitable catering concepts.
  • Assist in structuring tailored catering solutions and menu recommendations for premium or complex client enquiries.
  • Assist in managing contract negotiations and ensure pricing structures maximize profit margins.
  • Partner closely with the Kitchen& Operation teams to bridge the gap between sales promises and seamless event execution.
  • Lead vital pre-event briefings with internal departments and conduct site inspections for complex venue logistics.
  • Act as the point of contactfor service recoveries and handle complex client concerns professionally.
  • Guide and mentor the catering sales team to help them achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Design and implement training on sales techniques, menu knowledge, upselling strategies, and customer service standards.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins, resolve team roadblocks, and champion a supportive, high-performing team culture.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years of F&B/Catering sales experience in Singapore, including at least 1-2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or mentorship capacity.
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and develop junior sales personnel.
  • Demonstrated success inB2B corporate sales and pipeline management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate smoothly with both internal kitchen/operational staff and corporate clients.
