Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, based in Chennai. The Catering Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting Indian dishes to maintain high culinary standards. Daily responsibilities include planning menus, supervising food preparation, managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, and collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food Service specific to Indian cuisine
  • Strong Culinary Skills and experience in creating traditional and modern Indian dishes
  • Culinary Management experience, including supervising kitchen staff and maintaining quality standards
  • Proficiency in managing dietary preferences and adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure timely service
  • Formal culinary training or certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or catering industry is advantageous
