Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead and drive one or more material groups to ensure success as part of the overall category.
  • Ensure the sourcing process is robustly applied and drive stakeholders to deliver maximum value.
  • Drive the material group to achieve required performance and meet sourcing goals.
  • Procurement & Target Alignment:
  • Ensure the category aligns with defined targets in the procurement team and with Sika Target Markets or country strategy.
  • Create and track strategic procurement targets by measuring KPIs.
  • Report to the Head of Procurement, Sika India, and ensure transparency in tracking progress.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Measure, track, and report on strategic procurement targets and KPIs.
  • Provide monthly MIS reports to the Head of Procurement.
  • Ensure the implementation and tracking of achieved results.
  • Cost Savings & Supplier Management:
  • Identify and remove barriers to success, driving structural savings in India.
  • Facilitate and support structural savings projects across the country.
  • Ensure continuous supply of materials for all factories served by the category.
  • Compliance & Ethical Standards:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, Sika's Procurement Manual, and Sika's Code of Conduct.
  • Monitor and ensure ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience in procurement and category management.
  • Strong performance management skills with an emphasis on KPIs.
  • Knowledge of compliance and ethical procurement standards.
  • Ability to identify and drive cost-saving initiatives.
