NAOS Skin Care is a 47-year-old French multinational corporation, present in over 120 countries. We are a major global player in skincare with three renowned brands: BIODERMA, Institut Esthederm, and Etat Pur. Our mission is to create products that respect the skin's natural biology while delivering exceptional results.

As a Category Manager, you will be based out of our Head Office in Navi Mumbai and will act as the custodian of the product line within your category, owning its strategy, positioning, and performance across all digital platforms. This role is highly strategic and creative, requiring you to build strong brand equity while driving category growth and profitability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive category plans that address market opportunities, consumer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Brand Management: Manage the brand portfolio, ensuring consistent brand messaging, positioning, and identity across all touchpoints.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify category trends, growth drivers, and competitive threats.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Optimize the product assortment, including new product development, product launches, and product rationalization.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share, while remaining competitive.
  • Promotional Planning: Plan and execute effective promotional activities and campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective execution of category plans and achievement of sales targets.
  • Budget Management: Manage the category budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of category strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze category performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • MBA from a reputed university, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in category/brand management within the skincare industry.
  • Demonstrated success in brand building and market share growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong understanding of the Indian skincare market.
