Role
Category Manager-FMCG (B2B/ B2C)
Experience 4-10 years
Location Gurugram
Key Responsibilities:
A. Category Development and Brand Onboarding:
- Expand relevant categories in Quick Commerce B2B business
- Channel agnostic approach while evolving categories and assortment
- Drive AOV > INR 1000 (10x vs B2C Quick/Com); Total Lines Sold per Order > 10
- Help brands to drive non-KVI, new consumer demands, expand distribution
B. Deliver 3–5 Years GMV Plan
- Develop long-term revenue plan on category and channel level
- Lead Annual Business Plan, resulting into monthly S&OP Process with monthly category and brand wise GMV and CM1 Plan; and
- Monthly Brand wise P&L: Target to improve CM1 > 3% through better product mix, long-term favourable procurement deals, QPS, minimize inventory exposure
C. Supplier Relationship and Inventory Management:
- TOT and long-term business collaboration with international, national, regional and D2C brands, ensure negative working capital maintained
- Operate with 3 days inventory level at every dark store
- Ensure fill rate > 100% for KVI and 90%+ for non-KVI
D. Customer Focus:
- Defining and deploying Customer acquisition and retention strategy; regular tactical interventions to ensure weekly customer retention > 90%
- Focus on repeat orders per day > 3 per customer
- Champion a customer-centric approach in all buying decisions, ensuring products meet customer expectations and preferences.
- Utilize customer feedback and insights to refine product assortment and enhance the shopping experience.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that drive product visibility and sales.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure effective product placement and presentation.

- Proven track record of successful product selection and supplier negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of category trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using buying and inventory management software.
