Role Overview:

Lead procurement of long lead and mission-critical equipment for global data centre projects. This role focuses on early engagement with OEMs, securing production slots, and ensuring timely delivery across international project locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy & Planning

• Develop global sourcing strategies for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP categories.

• Align procurement timelines with multi-country project schedules.

• Leverage regional cost advantages and supplier capabilities.

2. Vendor & Contractor Management

• Build and manage an international vendor ecosystem.

• Prequalify regional and global contractors across multiple geographies.

• Drive vendor standardization and performance benchmarking.

3. Tendering & Contracting

• Lead global RFQs/RFPs and techno-commercial evaluations.

• Negotiate cross-border contracts, considering local regulations and tax structures.

• Structure contracts to mitigate execution and supply risks.

4. Cost & Commercial Management

• Drive global cost benchmarking and value engineering.

• Optimize total cost of ownership (TCO) across regions.

• Track budgets across multiple projects and geographies.

5. Project Coordination

• Collaborate with global projects, design, and engineering teams.

• Ensure timely mobilization and delivery across locations.

• Support site teams during execution and issue resolution.

6. Compliance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to international standards and local regulatory requirements.

• Maintain consistency in quality across regions.

7. Risk Management

• Identify geopolitical, logistical, and supply chain risks.

• Develop contingency sourcing strategies and alternate supplier networks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's in engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
• 15–20 years of experience in construction or data center procurement
• Proven experience in multi-country/global procurement environments
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction execution
