About

Category Lead will drive Samsung's one of the series in flagship portfolio. Incubment will manage strategy, owning the P&L, marketing funnel, and product positioning. You'll shape consumer demand across channels, ensuring Samsung continues to lead India's premium smartphone segment through innovation, experience, and ecosystem integration.

Key Responsibilities

1. P&L Ownership

Full accountability for revenue, market share, and profitability.

Lead annual and quarterly planning pricing, volume targets, and margin optimization.

Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, identify corrective actions, and deliver business KPIs.

2. Marketing Funnel Creation & Optimization

Build a robust awareness-to-conversion funnel aligned with brand and performance marketing teams.

Optimize digital and offline campaigns to drive visibility, engagement, and lead quality.

Leverage CRM, performance data, and consumer insights to enhance conversion and retention.

3. Product Positioning & Go-to-Market

Define flagship category positioning emphasizing innovation, design, and ecosystem superiority.

Collaborate with HQ and local teams on product messaging, launch narratives, and feature storytelling.

Own the GTM strategy for each new launch: pricing, ecosystem, launch calendar, and media integration.

4. Demand Generation

Develop and execute integrated demand generation programs across online and offline retail.

Partner with sales and channel marketing teams to drive premium store conversions and flagship experience programs.

Use predictive analytics and market trends to forecast demand and plan supply allocation.

5. Channel Expertise

Act as the category's channel lead, understanding the nuances of organized retail, modern trade, and e-commerce ecosystems.

Design differentiated channel strategies offers, launch partnerships, and experience-driven retail executions.

Strengthen flagship presence and visibility across all touchpoints.

Who You Are

12+ years experience in category management, product marketing, or business strategy within smartphones or premium consumer tech.

Proven record of owning P&L and delivering growth in competitive markets.

Deep understanding of smartphone GTM, digital funnels, and consumer behavior.

Strong analytical and storytelling ability equally comfortable with data dashboards and creative briefs.

Passionate about technology, innovation, and the Samsung ecosystem
