Catalogue Manager

Position Summary:

This role requires a hands-on approach to Global Catalog and Category Management. The candidate will collaborate with the team to drive operational excellence in e-commerce listings and data management. This position demands a blend of functional e-commerce expertise and technical aptitude (SQL, Excel) to coordinate with internal stakeholders and ensure the seamless execution of catalog operations from initiation to Go-To-Market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain product catalogues across global markets, ensuring accurate product categorization, SKU attributes.
2. Create and maintain detailed operational reports using MS Excel. Analyse data to identify gaps in Catalog health and product/Product SKU mappings
3. Utilize Basic SQL knowledge to query databases for data validation and troubleshooting.
4. Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies; prior hands-on experience working on tools for viewing logs or DB viewers will be utilized to investigate issues
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Tech and Business) to resolve blockers and ensure timely execution of tasks.
6. Identify areas for development in the cataloguing process and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
7. Leverage knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to automate or enhance cataloguing and reporting tasks (Added Advantage).
8. Handle assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and quality standards

Essential Skills:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in the E-commerce industry is mandatory.
2. In-depth knowledge of Global Catalog and Category Management is required.
3. Candidate must be based out of Mumbai and must be able to work from office for all 5 days of the week.
4. Proficiency in Basic SQL and MS Excel is required. Prior hands-on experience working on tools for viewing logs or DB viewers is an added advantage.
5. Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential for effective coordination.
6. Artificial Intelligence knowledge will be an added advantage.
7. Candidates must show a commitment to learning and growth, with the ability to handle tasks independently.
