About The Role
We are looking for a Catalog Quality & AI Automation Manager to lead catalog quality, governance, and automation across Xoxoday's global marketplace.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, discoverability, and customer experience of products across all marketplace categories including Gift Vouchers, Merchandise, Top-ups, Airmiles, Flights, Hotels, Lounge Access, Experiences, Sports & Events, Charity, and emerging categories.
This is not a traditional catalog operations role.
At Xoxoday, we are building an AI-first Marketplace Operations function and are looking for someone who can leverage AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging technologies to transform how catalog quality is managed at scale.
The ideal candidate is someone who constantly experiments with AI tools, automation workflows, and operational efficiencies. You should be equally comfortable conducting quality audits, analyzing large datasets, building AI-powered workflows, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to automate quality assurance processes.
You will work closely with Category Managers, Supplier Partners, Product, Engineering, Operations, Growth, and Client Success teams to ensure world-class catalog quality across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Catalog Quality Ownership & Governance
- Own end-to-end catalog quality across all marketplace categories globally.
- Define and maintain catalog quality standards, SOPs, governance frameworks, and audit mechanisms.
- Establish quality benchmarks across Product Names, Product Descriptions, Images, Pricing & Denominations, Redemption Instructions, Terms & Conditions Etc
- Ensure consistency and quality across all supplier catalogs and geographies.
- Drive continuous improvement in catalog quality KPIs.
- Catalog Audits & Quality Control
- Lead periodic catalog audits across Gift Vouchers, Merchandise, Top-ups, Airmiles, Flights, Hotels, Lounge Access, Experiences, and other marketplace categories.
- Identify and resolve Content inaccuracies, Incorrect category mappings, Pricing discrepancies, Missing product information, Duplicate products Etc
- Conduct pre-launch and post-launch quality reviews for all new products and suppliers.
- Build quality scorecards and audit frameworks for suppliers and categories.
- Ensure timely closure of catalog issues through cross-functional collaboration.
- AI-Powered Catalog Automation
- Drive Xoxoday's AI-first approach to catalog quality management.
- Identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them using AI and workflow automation platforms.
- Design and implement scalable AI-powered catalog validation systems.
- Leverage tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini Etc
- Build automated workflows for:
- Product Naming Validation
- Description Quality Checks
- Terms & Conditions Verification
- Taxonomy Mapping Etc
- Continuously evaluate new AI technologies and implement solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
- Taxonomy & Catalog Architecture
- Own category hierarchy, taxonomy standards, metadata governance, and catalog structure.
- Ensure standardization across global supplier catalogs.
- Define category mapping frameworks and naming conventions.
- Improve product discoverability through better taxonomy design.
- Collaborate with Product teams to enhance marketplace search, filtering, and navigation experiences.
- Supplier Onboarding & Quality Validation
- Establish quality validation processes for all supplier onboarding activities.
- Review supplier catalogs before launch to ensure compliance with marketplace standards.
- Work with Category Managers and supplier teams to resolve onboarding issues.
- Develop onboarding playbooks, templates, and quality checklists.
- Ensure suppliers meet content and operational quality requirements.
- Process Excellence & Automation
- Build scalable quality assurance processes that can support rapid marketplace growth.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to automate quality control workflows.
- Reduce manual effort through intelligent automation initiatives.
- Define and monitor operational SLAs related to catalog quality and issue resolution.
- Create internal quality management frameworks and best practices.
- Data Analytics & Reporting
- Build and maintain catalog health dashboards and quality KPIs.
- Analyze quality trends, issue patterns, supplier performance, and operational bottlenecks.
- Generate actionable insights to improve catalog quality and customer experience.
- Present quality reviews and improvement recommendations to leadership teams.
- Measure automation impact and quality improvement outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Category Managers to ensure category readiness and catalog health.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to implement automation and quality improvements.
- Work with Operations and Client Success teams to resolve customer-facing catalog issues.
- Support Growth and Sales teams with accurate marketplace content and product information.
- Act as the central owner of catalog governance and quality across the organization.
Required Skills & Competencies
Catalog & Marketplace Expertise
- Strong understanding of catalog management, marketplace operations, quality assurance, e-commerce operations, or product operations.
- Experience managing large-scale product catalogs and supplier ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of taxonomy management, product content, metadata, and catalog governance.
AI & Automation Expertise
- Strong passion for AI, automation, and operational excellence.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, Perplexity etc
- Strong prompt engineering and AI workflow design capabilities.
- Ability to rapidly prototype and deploy automation solutions with minimal engineering dependency.
- Familiarity with APIs, CSV processing, Google Sheets automation, data validation workflows, and no-code/low-code platforms.
Analytical & Problem Solving
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, root causes, and process gaps.

Experience & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience in Catalog Management, Marketplace Operations, Product Operations, Quality Assurance, E-commerce Operations, or related functions.
- Experience managing large product catalogs and supplier ecosystems.
- Exposure to categories such as Gift Cards, Merchandise, Travel, Hospitality, Top-ups, Airmiles, Loyalty, Experiences, or Digital Commerce is preferred.
- Experience working across multiple international markets is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in loyalty, rewards, fintech, travel-tech, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve operational efficiency, quality, or scalability is strongly preferred.
