Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a lean team responsible for new product development (NPD) and catalog data enrichment across categories.
  • Define and drive the catalog data strategy, including governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure data is accurate, complete, and scalable.
  • Drive adoption of GenAI solutions (e.g., for product descriptions, images, titles, and attribute extraction) to improve speed and consistency of catalog creation. Collaborate with Tech/Product teams to build and scale AI-powered catalog workflows for NPD onboarding and data governance.
  • Own master data integrity across key systems (PID, CID, vendor mapping, pricing, inventory), and establish robust processes for ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with business, analytics, and functional teams to design, document, and continuously improve catalog processes.
  • Identify and resolve data quality gaps through structured interventions—error detection, process redesign, and automation opportunities.
  • Stay aligned with the fast-evolving e-commerce/quick-commerce ecosystem, proactively adapting catalog practices to emerging trends. Continuously evaluate emerging AI capabilities in e-commerce/quick-commerce to improve catalog efficiency and customer experience.
  • Drive strong cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Business teams to ensure catalog readiness and compliance.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven experience in catalog creation, product listing, and data management.
  • Strong analytical mindset; exposure to web analytics or performance metrics is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail—ability to interpret product attributes and identify gaps quickly.
  • Strong prioritization and execution skills in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/GenAI tools for content generation, data enrichment, or automation.
  • Understanding of merchandising principles and product sequencing is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in catalog management, data analysis, or related domains.
  • Familiarity with data governance, warehousing standards, and system integrations is desirable.
