Role overview

The Casting Master represents Crafting Memories wherever a client or partner meets us in person. You will build business associations, guide families through home and studio casting visits, and lead our presence at exhibitions.

This is a client-facing role for someone who is presentable, communicates formally and warmly, and understands how a business grows. Hands-on casting skills are taught in-house; your judgement, presence and relationships are what we are hiring for.

Key responsibilities

1. Business associations

  • Identify and approach partners whose clients value keepsakes: maternity and children's hospitals, gynaecologists, photographers, wedding and event planners, gift stores and corporates.
  • Present Crafting Memories through formal meetings, proposals and follow-ups.
  • Build long-term referral and collaboration arrangements, and keep partners engaged after onboarding.
  • Maintain a clear record of every association, meeting and lead generated.

2. B2C client coordination (home and studio visits)

  • Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally, and schedule home or studio casting visits.
  • Explain products, packages and add-ons so each family chooses with confidence.
  • Conduct or supervise casting sessions with care, especially with newborns, elders and pets.
  • Coordinate with the studio team from booking through finishing, framing and final handover.
  • Collect feedback, reviews and referrals after every order.

3. Exhibitions

  • Identify relevant exhibitions, baby and wedding expos, melas and pop-up opportunities.
  • Plan and set up the stall, display samples and run live casting demonstrations.
  • Engage visitors, explain the offering and convert interest into bookings.
  • Capture every lead and follow up within 48 hours of the event.

Who we're looking for

Personal qualities

  • Warm personality — puts families, new parents and partners at ease from the first conversation.
  • Intellectual — curious, articulate and able to discuss ideas, art and business with thought.
  • Confident — comfortable leading a meeting, presenting to a crowd at an exhibition and handling objections.
  • Presentable — well-groomed and professionally dressed, representing a premium brand.

Skills and requirements

  • Formal, polished communication in English and Hindi, spoken and written.
  • Business knowledge: understands partnerships, sales conversations and how a growing business operates.
  • Organised and dependable, with the ability to manage several clients and follow-ups at once.
  • Willing to travel within the city for home visits, partner meetings and exhibitions.
  • Graduate in any discipline; experience in client servicing, sales, events or a creative field is an advantage.
