Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NoSQL Database Administrator (DBA) preferably Cassandra experience (Along with MongoDB) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our NoSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with development teams to understand their data needs and translate them into efficient database solutions.

• 24/7 Support handling L1 & L2 tickets.
• Install and configure multi-nodes fully distributed Cassandra cluster.
• Involved in Cassandra Cluster environment administration that includes adding and removing cluster nodes, cluster capacity planning, performance tuning, cluster Monitoring, Troubleshooting.
• Good Knowledge on Backing up and Restoring data (Taking Snapshots, Deleting Snapshots, Enabling Incremental backups, Restoring from Snapshots).
• Responsible to manage data coming from different sources.
• Involved in Backing up and Restoring data.
• Analyse Client Systems and Gather requirements.
• Design technical solutions based out of the Client needs and systems architecture.
• Configured Fair Scheduler to provide service-level agreements for multiple users of a cluster.
• Managing nodes on Cassandra cluster connectivity and security.
• Used Cassandra as the data storage.
• Monitoring DB Performance and DB tuning.
• Providing on Call support on weekends for all the database technologies which is mandatory.
• Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude as demonstrated by receiving employee of the month in two consecutive quarters.

• DBA experience

• Devops tools (Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Capacity Planning, Power Shell, Shell scripting
• Involving in Patching activities
• Involving in upgrading of Databases
• Automating DBA tasks using any one of the scripting languages
