Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cashier at BSES Yamuna Power Limited, located in Delhi, India. The Cashier will handle financial transactions, manage cash registers, and process payments efficiently. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining transaction records, balancing cash registers, and assisting customers with billing inquiries or payment issues. The position also involves generating receipts, addressing customer concerns, and supporting administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong cashiering skills, with experience in handling cash and operating POS systems or other payment platforms.
  • Basic accounting and financial transaction reconciliation skills, including the ability to balance cash registers and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication; ability to address customer inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage operations effectively and meet daily transaction targets.
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications, including financial software and MS Office tools, is an added advantage.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a cashier or finance-related role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and payment processes.
