The Operations Team Lead (TL) is responsible for the seamless execution of day-to-day store operations at our Tirupati location. This role demands a high level of integrity in financial transactions and Cash Register Management, while leading a diverse team to meet service and efficiency benchmarks. We are seeking candidates from high-standard retail environments such as Metro, FMCG, Landmark, or Shoppers Stop.
Cashiering Excellence: Direct oversight of cash register handling, ensuring 100% accuracy in billing, reconciliation, and secure cash-office procedures.
Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations, ensuring professional and timely resolution.
Financial Integrity: Ensure all front-end processes strictly adhere to company audit guidelines and financial safety protocols.
2. Team Leadership & Performance
Mentorship: Lead, motivate, and guide a diverse team of associates to achieve daily operational objectives.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze team KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Staff Development: Provide ongoing training to team members to enhance their operational and customer service skills.
3. Process & Efficiency Improvement
Policy Implementation: Develop and execute localized procedures to enhance store efficiency and minimize operational friction.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with other departments (Inventory, Merchandising, Logistics) to ensure store-wide goals are met.
Strategic Reporting: Generate and present detailed reports on team productivity and business performance to senior leadership.
4. Organizational Excellence
Multi-Tasking: Manage multiple operational tasks and projects simultaneously with strong organizational rigor.
Communication: Maintain effective and transparent communication channels within the team and across departments.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Relevant background in Retail Ops, Supply Chain, or FMCG. Cash register handling experience is a mandate.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to guide and develop a team.
Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving operational bottlenecks and handling customer concerns.
