Position: Rug Designer / Textile Designer
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana (Udyog Vihar)
Experience: 3-6 Years
Work Days: Monday to Friday (5-Day Working)
About The Role
We are seeking a creative and experienced Rug Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in rug and carpet design, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for aesthetics and global design trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Design new collections of rugs and carpets aligned with market trends and buyer preferences
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts
- Create production-ready designs using design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics, etc.)
- Collaborate with sampling and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback from clients and teams
- Stay updated on global design trends, textures, and techniques
- Communicate ideas effectively to internal teams and international buyers
Requirements
- 3-6 years of proven experience in rug/carpetdesign (preferably in export-focused companies)
- Strong understanding of weaves, textures, yarns, and production methods
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
