About Us

S&J Travel and Cargo Services Pvt Ltd (part of the S&J Group) is the Cargo Sales Agent for Maldivian Cargo in India and has been serving the aviation, cargo, and logistics industry for over three decades. Through our extensive network of freight forwarders, exporters, and logistics partners, we provide reliable cargo solutions connecting India, Maldives, and international destinations from TRV,COK and MAA.

We are currently seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Cargo Sales Officer to join our team and drive cargo sales for Maldivian Airlines and our expanding Maldives cargo network.

  • Role overview
  • This is a 100% sales-focused role.
  • Dedicated operations, documentation, customer service, and finance teams are already in place. Your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue, develop new business opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and grow cargo volumes.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in airline cargo sales, freight forwarding sales, logistics sales, or courier sales and possess strong industry relationships.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new cargo business and secure regular cargo bookings.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, exporters, consolidators, logistics providers, and courier companies.
  • Promote Maldivian Cargo services and secure cargo for Maldives-bound and international transshipment movements.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market presence.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and sales calls.
  • Follow up on quotations, business opportunities, and customer requirements.
  • Achieve monthly revenue, tonnage, and sales targets.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and contribute to long-term business growth.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions.
  • Location & Travel
  • This position will be based out of our Chennai office, located in close proximity to the Air Cargo Complex.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with our teams in Chennai, Trivandrum, and Cochin and will be expected to travel as required for customer visits and business development activities.
  • This is a field-oriented role and is ideally suited for candidates who enjoy meeting customers, building relationships, and closing business.
