Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Lead (FSQR) will join our Dairy Feed plant team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards on implementing food safety management systems and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. You'll lead cross-functional teams, implement robust quality control & quality assurance processes, and drive continuous improvement to maintain regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
Develop, implement, and maintain FSQR systems, including HACCP, GMP, and SOPs.
Lead cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate food safety and quality risks.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless execution.
Investigate and resolve food safety and quality issues, implementing corrective actions.
Develop and maintain documentation, including FSQR manuals, records, and reports.
Provide training and coaching to production staff on FSQR procedures and best practices.
Continuously evaluate and improve FSQR systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness Ensure Calibration, verification and maintenance of equipment and other Glass ware as per protocol.
Ensure to close any complaints with proper investigation and CAPA.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Food Technology – BTech or Msc in a related field (Chemistry, Biotech, Agriculture, Food science Etc.) or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Good knowledge on using analytical tools (excel, word, pivot tables etc.,)
Certification in food safety and quality reliability (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
Six Sigma- Green / Black belt certification
Experience with quality management software and systems.
Knowledge of statistical process control , quality tools and auditing experience
Proven Supervisory experience in the plant environment
Minimum of 7-8 years of working experience in the Food / Animal Feed industry
