The role is for Manager/ Sr Manager into HCC Operations with excellent operational acumen and people management skills. She/he will be required to communicate with the client (externally) and various departments of Cotiviti (internally) to ensure high quality of service. Achieving and surpassing service level benchmarks would be a key responsibility. A good understanding of the processes and managing them through frequently occurring changes will be vital for meeting SLAs. Managing resources, their issues and their career planning is required for the team to continuously improve their performance.

  • Manage process knowledge through PKTs.
  • Performance Management. Optimum staff availability and utilization
  • Talent Engagement & Development. Meeting the expected NPS score
  • Succession Planning
  • Control Annual Voluntary Attrition
  • Implement Process Improvement Ideas (Automation/Change in workflow) that improves the Productivity/Quality/Turnaround Time
  • Successful POC on project assigned
  • Expansion of HCC inhouse coding capabilities
  • Meeting all the expectation of the onshore Customer facing and Operations teams.
  • Effective and timely communication with all stake holders based on various requirements

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 13+ years experience in US Healthcare with 8+ years of HCC medical coding, record abstraction
  • Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology
  • Must have experience in transitions of process from onsite to offshore
  • Should have experience in building & managing large teams
  • Ability to establish, monitor and enforce staffing schedules and production schedules
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends, outliers or areas that need attention from both a

production and quality perspective, and implement changes as needed

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to include coaching and interpersonal skills, and client

interaction

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to understand data to influence decision making
  • Manage multiple client deliverables and competing deadlines simultaneously
  • Awareness and adherence to HIPAA privacy and security regulations
  • Must remain flexible to provide assistance in any emergent situations and/or projects
