Role Summary
The Career Manager is responsible for managing contractor engagement and retention across a large active cohort, using real-time intent signals and proactive intervention to reduce attrition and ensure continuity. The role focuses on lifecycle management, retention conversations, and translating cohort insights into actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of contractors from onboarding to re-deployment
- Monitor intent-to-leave signals and prioritise outreach based on urgency
- Conduct meaningful retention conversations with contractors
- Initiate re-deployment discussions ahead of contract completion
- Identify and act on patterns across contractor cohorts
- Escalate risks related to compensation, manager relationships, and role fit
- Feed insights back into platform and process improvements
Who You Are
- 2–5 years in HR, contractor management, or engagement-focused roles
- Strong analytical ability to interpret intent signals and cohort data
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication skills
- Comfortable handling high daily interaction volumes
- Proactive and responsive within defined decision windows
- Able to manage complexity across large cohorts without compromising quality
Education
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
