Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Career Counsellor, preferably with 1 year of experience in US staffing or technical recruitment. The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying suitable career opportunities for candidates, guiding them throughout the hiring process, and maintaining effective communication. We will provide training on US hiring processes and industry terminology
Key Responsibilities:
Connect with potential IT candidates and guide them on suitable career opportunities with our US client
Source profiles using job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and internal database
Review resumes and conduct preliminary discussions to understand candidates skills, experience, and job expectation
Support senior counsellors and account managers in meeting client requirement
Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and feedback between candidates and internal team
Maintain accurate and updated candidate information in internal system
Learn and apply basic US hiring concepts such as W2, C2C, 1099, and work authorization
Achieve daily/weekly sourcing and candidate engagement target
Required Skills & Qualification
Preferably 1 year of experience in US staffing, recruitment, or candidate counselling
Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and job portal
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Willingness to work in US shifts (CST)
Basic knowledge of US hiring terms and work visas
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
