Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Ahmedabad for a Career Counselor. The Career Counselor will be responsible for guiding and advising students on career opportunities, conducting career assessment and counseling sessions, identifying industry trends, and assisting in job placement activities. The role will also involve networking and building relationships with potential employers, organizing career development workshops, and maintaining records of student progress and placements.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills
- Proficiency in counseling techniques and career development strategies
- Ability to identify industry trends and understand employer needs
- Organizational and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in conducting career assessments and interpreting results
- Experience with networking, relationship management, and event coordination
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Counseling,
- Prior experience in career counseling, academic advising, or a similar role is an advantage
- Familiarity with career-related tools and technology is a plus
