Job Description

Job Title: Career Counselor (Inside Sales)  

Location: BTM Layout, Bangalore  

Experience: 0-3 Years (Edtech is a plus)

Role Overview:  

As an Academic Counselor (Sales), you will be responsible for guiding prospective students through their journey and helping them make informed decisions about enrolling in TAP Academy's programs. This is a sales-focused role where you will manage student leads, build relationships, and drive enrollment.  

Key Responsibilities:  

∙ Counseling & Sales: Understand students academic needs, career goals, and recommend suitable 

courses and programs.  

∙ Lead Conversion: Follow up with leads generated from marketing campaigns and outreach activities to convert them into enrolled students.  

∙ Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents to foster trust and ensure continued engagement.  

∙ Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the TAP Academy's courses, programs, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions.  

∙ CRM Management: Track all student interactions, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRMsystem.  

∙ Target Achievement: Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly enrollment targets set by the management.  

∙ Communication: Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages, and guide students through the admission process. 

∙ Follow-up: Maintain consistent communication with potential students via calls, emails, and social media platforms.  

Key Skills:  

∙ Sales-Driven Mindset: Strong ability to engage with students and convert inquiries into enrollments.  

∙ Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain course offerings and address student queries.  

∙ Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to empathize with students needs and provide tailored solutions.  

∙ Proactive Follow-Up: Strong follow-up skills to ensure conversion and build long-term student relationships.  

∙ Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems, social media, and basic computer skills.

∙ Time Management: Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.

Qualifications:  

∙ Bachelor's degree in any field.  

∙ 1-3 years of experience in sales or counseling, preferably in the EdTech industry.

∙ Freshers with strong sales aptitude and excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
