We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-focused Career Counsellor who can understand students career aspirations, educational backgrounds, and professional goals and guide them toward suitable career paths and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one career counselling sessions with students and working professionals.
• Understand students educational backgrounds, career interests, skills, and professional goals.
• Identify suitable career paths and recommend relevant courses and upskilling programs.
• Counsel students regarding Data Analytics, AWS & DevOps, Salesforce, Full Stack Development, Data Science, Business Analysis, and other professional programs.
• Explain course curriculum, duration, training methodology, fees, projects, career opportunities, and placement support.
• Handle leads through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students and convert counselling inquiries into admissions.
• Address students and parents queries regarding courses, career opportunities, fees, and training programs.
• Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM systems.
• Coordinate with Training, Operations, and Placement teams for a smooth student journey.
• Participate in career seminars, webinars, workshops, promotional activities, and admission campaigns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, career opportunities, and relevant skill requirements.
• Achieve assigned counselling, conversion, and admission targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 3 Months – 1 Year of experience in Career Counselling, Student Counselling, Admission Counselling, Inside Sales, Business Development, Customer Support, or EdTech.
• Freshers with strong communication and counselling skills may also apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Good listening, counselling, and convincing abilities.
• Ability to understand students career goals and recommend suitable programs.
• Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain professional and technical courses in a simple and understandable manner.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM, WhatsApp, and digital communication tools.
• Prior experience in the EdTech, education, training, or career counselling industry will be an added advantage.
