Care Coordinator intern

Role Description The Care Coordinator intern will support patients and their families throughout the surgical journey, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, working closely with medical and administrative teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with appointment scheduling, coordinating with surgeons and hospital staff, and guiding patients through admission, discharge, and follow-up processes. The intern will help with documentation, insurance-related coordination, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also involves responding to patient inquiries, providing clear information, and escalating issues to senior team members when needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Care Coordination and Case Management to support patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Candidates should possess an understanding of Home Care and post-surgery support to help ensure continuity of patient care.
• Attention to detail, time management, and basic proficiency with digital tools (e.g., MS Office, patient management systems) are beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with empathy and professionalism toward patients and caregivers.
• Pursuing or having completed studies in healthcare, social work, psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
