Role Description The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and emergency cardiac services at Trustwell Hospital in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing clinical evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests (such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and relevant imaging), and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role involves coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams, performing or assisting in interventional procedures as appropriate, and participating in cardiac rehabilitation and preventive cardiology programs. The Cardiologist will also contribute to clinical documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education on heart health and risk factor management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Cardiology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
• Competence in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular procedures, including the evaluation and treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease, where applicable.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine applications in cardiology, including cardiac imaging and stress testing, and the ability to interpret related diagnostic results.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Cardiology (MD/DNB/DM or equivalent), and valid medical registration as per local regulations.
• Experience in hospital-based cardiology practice, including acute care, intensive care, and multidisciplinary case management.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centric approach, with commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health teams, and to contribute to clinical governance and quality initiatives.
