Cardiac Technician
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Perform 2D Echo, Doppler, Colour Doppler, and related cardiac diagnostic procedures as prescribed Prepare patients for echocardiography procedures and explain the process clearly Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and stress echo procedures Operate and maintain echocardiography machines and related equipment Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper recording of diagnostic findings Monitor patient condition during procedures and report abnormalities immediately Maintain patient records, reports, and documentation accurately Follow infection control, patient safety, and biomedical waste management protocols Coordinate with cardiologists, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth workflow Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and procedure areas Handle emergency cases and support cardiac procedures whenever required Follow NABH standards, hospital protocols, and quality guidelines Qualifications & Experience Diploma / B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology / Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent Relevant experience in echocardiography preferred Freshers with relevant training may also be considered Experience in multispecialty hospital preferred
