About The Opportunity

A leading healthcare provider in India's advanced cardiac care sector, we deliver world-class surgical outcomes through precision anesthesia, cutting-edge monitoring, and multidisciplinary cardiac teams. Our cardiac anesthesia division supports complex procedures — including CABG, valve repairs, transplant, and minimally invasive interventions — ensuring optimal patient safety and hemodynamic stability across high-acuity settings. We prioritize clinical excellence, continuous innovation, and compassionate perioperative care.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver perioperative anesthesia for open-heart, valve, and congenital cardiac surgeries — from pre-op evaluation to post-op ICU handover.
  • Manage intraoperative hemodynamics using TEE, arterial lines, PA catheters, and rapid response protocols for cardiac instability.
  • Lead cardiac arrest response (ACLS) and emergency resuscitation during high-risk procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and ICU teams to customize anesthesia plans for CHF, pulmonary hypertension, and other comorbidities.
  • Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) for real-time cardiac function assessment during surgery.
  • Ensure adherence to NABH, JCI, and institutional protocols for sedation, drug dosing, and patient safety across cardiac ORs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Have
  • DNB/MD Anesthesiology with fellowship or advanced training in Cardiac Anesthesia
  • Proven experience in managing adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries
  • Proficient in TEE interpretation and intraoperative monitoring (PA catheter, arterial line, CVP)
  • Current ACLS certification with active resuscitation experience
  • Expertise in cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) management and heparin protocols
  • Working knowledge of NABH/JCI standards and perioperative safety checklists
  • Preferred
  • Experience with robotic or minimally invasive cardiac procedures
  • Teaching or mentorship background in anesthesia training programs
  • Research publications or conference presentations in cardiac anesthesia

Benefits & Culture Highlights

  • Work in India's most technologically advanced cardiac centers with state-of-the-art ORs and ICU support.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac conferences, continuous medical education, and simulation training.
  • Competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and wellness-focused clinical culture.
