Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Functional Test Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate should have strong functional testing skills, deep understanding of financial systems and trade lifecycle workflows, and excellent communication abilities. The role requires the ability to perform end-to-end functional testing, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, proactively identify risks, and leverage AI tools to improve productivity. A willingness to learn automation is expected.

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end functional testing of Capital Markets applications.
  
• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
  
• Execute manual test cases and report defects with complete documentation.
  
• Collaborate with BA, development, QA, and business teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
  
• Actively participate in test planning, execution, and defect triage.
  
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  
• Use AI tools to overcome testing challenges and improve efficiency.
  
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and contribute to test automation initiatives.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualification

• 5–8 years of experience in functional/manual testing.
  
• Strong expertise in Capital Markets (equities, derivatives, trade lifecycle).
  
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  
• Ability to write clear, concise, comprehensive test cases.
  
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
  
• Basic SQL knowledge.
  
• Eagerness to learn automation (Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
  
  

Good to have Skills

• Basic knowledge of automation testing.
  
• Experience using AI‑based tools for testing or productivity improvement.
  
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.
