Captive Account Manager / Captive Insurance Manager

Brief Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable Captive Client Account Manager to effectively manage client relationships and ensure financial compliance. This role emphasizes meticulous financial oversight and client engagement for optimal service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with a portfolio of captive insurance clients, ensuring excellent service delivery. Interpret relevant regulations and keep clients informed, ensuring adherence to standards. Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards. Assist in implementing projects to support business objectives. Oversee treasury and investment functions for clients, performing reconciliations as needed. Handle accounting processes related to insurance and claims for clients. Prepare and review budgets, policies, and protocols in collaboration with clients. Liaise with various stakeholders such as brokers, regulators, and auditors. Provide management and statutory reporting in compliance with financial standards. Facilitate client board meetings, assisting with documentation of decisions and materials. Perform any additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA) is preferred. Proven experience in client account management or financial accounting roles within captive insurance. Strong understanding of insurance accounting principles and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a consistent ability to meet deadlines. Proactive and positive attitude.
