Our founders, Akhil and Shriya, grew up eating Bangalore-style benne dosa and missed that taste in Mumbai. What started as cooking for friends slowly became a pursuit to recreate something familiar, honest, and consistent.

Role Description

At Benne, it is all about warmth, care, and unforgettable experiences. As a Captain, you'll be the face of our service, leading the front-of-house team, guiding guests , and ensuring every detail of their experience feels effortless. From welcoming guests at the door to making sure their last sip of filter coffee is perfect, you'll make every visit to Benne feel special.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, team coordination, and time management skills
• Experience in hospitality or food service management and customer service excellence
• A graduate or diploma holder in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
• 2–4 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, dining etiquette, and food safety standards
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on knowledge of POS systems, billing, food safety, and hygiene
• Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of Bangalore cuisine are a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
