Senior Account Director – Capital Markets IPO Advisory | Adfactors PR | Mumbai & Delhi

Experience: 4 to 8 years

We are seeking an advisory leader to build and lead our Capital Markets Advisory practice, with a primary focus on IPOs. This mandate is specifically designed for investment banking professionals who have led IPO deal execution, DRHP filing and drafting, and equity story and narrative building, and who are now looking to apply that same end-to-end ownership within a strategic communications and advisory environment. In much the same way that an investment banker steers a deal from early due diligence, positioning and owning the client relationship all the way to listing and beyond, the ideal candidate will steer the client in a similarly hands-on, front-facing capacity across their entire capital market communications journey at Adfactors PR — research, strategy, narrative building, and execution.

About the Role

This is a leadership-level opportunity for an investment banking expert ready to transition into or expand within the strategic communications and advisory space. You will work directly with promoters, boards, and C-suite leadership teams, shaping the reputation and market positioning of companies preparing for their public market journey.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic IPO Advisory

• Advise IPO-bound companies on building corporate and investor brands through strategic positioning.
• Counsel C-suite executives on communicating the equity story effectively within regulatory guardrails.
• Partner with promoters and leadership teams to build relationship capital with media and market stakeholders, and enable them to communicate their business narrative with clarity and conviction.
• Develop communication plans and story banks grounded in internal and external research to achieve defined communication objectives.
• Design crisis preparedness frameworks, plans, and protocols to identify and mitigate potential reputation risks.
• Monitor traditional and social media environments to assess and pre-empt reputation risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Advise clients on managing digital assets including websites, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, and geo-discovery platforms to support Pre-IPO and IPO communication programmes.
• Mobilize specialist teams across Adfactors PR to deliver integrated solutions aligned with client objectives.

Who we're looking for

We are specifically seeking professionals from:

• Investment banks with an equity capital markets (ECM) or IPO execution practice
• In-house corporate finance/IR teams at listed or IPO-bound companies
• Investment bankers with exposure to SEBI regulations, DRHP processes, or capital markets advisory

Investment banking professionals who have straddled deal execution, communication, or investor relations work alongside their core banking practice are particularly encouraged to apply.
