Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The candidate will support civil and structural engineering projects through activities such as preparing and reviewing design documentation, assisting in detailing for concrete reinforcement and structural steel, and contributing to BIM and CAD workflows as required. Day-to-day responsibilities may include collaborating with engineering teams, maintaining accurate project records, following established standards and processes, and supporting quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications. The candidate will also be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues, participate in knowledge-sharing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in civil/structural engineering principles and an understanding of structural design workflows.
- Familiarity with concrete reinforcement (rebar) detailing, structural steel detailing, or related drafting and fabrication documentation.
- Exposure to BIM tools or pre-construction CAD software commonly used in engineering and construction projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents accurately.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to learning and sharing ideas in a team setting.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a structured approach to managing tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kochi and to grow within a culture that values continuous learning and process improvement.
