Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Candidate Onboarding Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a positive and seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed, prepared, and excited to join our client company. You will be responsible for managing the entire onboarding process from the moment a candidate accepts an offer to their successful integration into the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Offer Engagement:
- Maintain regular communication with new hires to build excitement and answer any questions.
- Provide timely and relevant information about the company, benefits, and onboarding process.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks and medical examinations.
- Pre-Onboarding Process:
- Collaborate with recruiters to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth transition.
- Work closely with IT to set up employee accounts, systems access, and equipment.
- Coordinate with HR to process necessary paperwork and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage internal logistics, such as workspace setup, security badges, and access cards.
- Induction Hosting and Management:
- Plan and facilitate engaging new hire orientation sessions, covering company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Introduce new hires to their teams and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate onboarding schedules and ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Process Management and Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain onboarding documentation, checklists, and resources.
- Track key metrics and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Candidate Experience:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing support and guidance throughout the onboarding journey.
- Ensure a high level of candidate satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing timely solutions.
- Collect feedback from new hires to identify areas for improvement and enhance the onboarding experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Onboarding Specialist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, onboarding processes, and employment laws.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and onboarding software/tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
