Role Overview

As a Campus Recruiter, you will be the face of Kirloskar Oil Engines across top engineering and business schools. In the manufacturing sector, talent is the engine of innovation. You won't just be filling roles; you will be building a sustainable pipeline of future leaders, engineers, and supply chain experts. You will lead the end-to-end strategy—from identifying high-potential campuses to designing immersive experiences that showcase our smart manufacturing capabilities.

Apart from fulfilling the campus hiring numbers and managing drives, some of the key responsibilities are -

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Campus Engagement

  • Strategy Creation: Develop and execute a multi-year campus recruitment roadmap tailored to manufacturing, R&D, and corporate functions.
  • Data-Driven Selection: Analyze historical hiring data and industry trends to identify Target Schools that align with our technical needs (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering).
  • Employer Branding: Collaborate with Marketing to create localized content that highlights our factory automation, sustainability initiatives, and Day in the Life stories

Relationship Management

  • University Partnerships: Act as the primary point of contact for Career Service Centers, Faculty heads, and student organizations (e.g., SME, IEEE, SWE).
  • Internal Stakeholders: Partner with Plant Managers and Department Heads to understand technical skill gaps and forecast hiring needs.
  • Alumni Network: Mobilize our internal alumni network to act as brand ambassadors during on-campus events.

Creating Engagement Opportunities

  • Experiential Learning: Design and manage internship programs, co-ops, and leadership development programs (LDPs).
  • On-Site & Virtual Events: Organize facility tours (Open House days), technical workshops, case study competitions, and hackathons focused on manufacturing challenges.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Create specific outreach programs to attract underrepresented talent in STEM and manufacturing

External Forum & Industry Participation

  • Industry Representation: Represent [Company Name] at national and regional career fairs, NACE conferences, and manufacturing-specific forums.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the Future of Work in manufacturing (Industry 4.0, AI in production) to better communicate our value proposition to Gen Z talent.
