Location: Isha Foundation (Coimbatore) + Travel Required
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Cameraperson/Videographer who can effectively capture events, programs, and visual content with high quality and aesthetic sense. The role requires strong technical expertise, planning ability, and flexibility to travel and work extensively within the Ashram environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture events and programs with high visual quality, ensuring the best possible framing, lighting, and storytelling.
- Review event calendars in advance and plan for manpower, equipment, and technical requirements.
- Travel to various locations and be available for extended work periods within the Ashram.
- Contribute creatively to scene planning, shot composition, and overall visual storytelling.
- Set up, assemble, and position equipment including cameras, tripods, rigs, and related software.
- Arrange camera setups and test angles, framing, and movement for optimal output.
- Shoot high-quality footage from both fixed and dynamic/moving positions.
- Collaborate closely with lighting, sound, and technical teams to achieve the desired final output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or practical challenges during shoots.
- Edit footage when required to support timely and polished deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of camera equipment, lenses, lighting, and composition.
- Proficiency in video shooting techniques and basic video editing tools.
- Good sense of timing, framing, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible work schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in event coverage, documentaries, or spiritual/wellness content.
- Exposure to working in live event environments.
- Knowledge of advanced editing tools and video production workflows.
