Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Camera C++ Developer with strong expertise in automotive infotainment and Android camera subsystems. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance camera features, work closely with hardware abstraction layers, and ensure robust, low-latency video processing pipelines for next-generation cockpits.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement camera features tailored for Infotainment/Cockpit Android automotive electronic systems.
• Build and customize Camera HAL components and interact deeply with the Android Camera Framework.
• Implement and optimize advanced features such as Android Camera SuspendToRam.
• Apply solid object-oriented principles, design patterns, and modern architecture standards to scalable codebases.
• Handle multi-threading, memory management, and code performance optimization using C++ (C++11/C++14 or later).
• Manage version control workflows (Git), build automation (CMake, Makefiles), and unit testing (Google Test).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on professional software development experience.
• Domain Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience in Infotainment/Cockpit Android Camera Development/Design for automotive systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong programming proficiency in C++ (C++11, C++14, or later) and the Standard Template Library (STL).
• Framework Knowledge: Proven hands-on experience with Camera HAL development and mastery of the Android Camera Framework.
• Advanced Features: Experience with specialized automotive requirements like Android Camera SuspendToRam, multi-threading, and system-level performance tuning.
