Job Role

Provide comprehensive support to the Treasury Business Unit, covering responsibilities across Front, Middle, and Back Office operations. As a Calypso Technical Analyst with strong Calypso infrastructure experience and proficiency in Unix environments, you will support and optimize the Calypso platform, ensuring seamless integration and high performance. The role demands deep understanding of Calypso architecture, system administration, and technical troubleshooting, alongside the ability to automate tasks and manage deployments within Unix-based systems.

You will collaborate closely with clients to identify, clarify, and resolve issues raised by business units, acting as a technical specialist and trusted advisor to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end technical support for the Calypso platform across Treasury operations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Front, Middle, and Back Office processes.
• Work collaboratively with clients and business units to clarify and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Support and administer Calypso infrastructure, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Automate tasks and manage Calypso deployments in Unix environments.
• Maintain best practices in system administration, technical troubleshooting, and platform optimization.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for Calypso and related Treasury processes.

Education: Engineering or Technical degree from a reputed institution 

Job Role

• Analyze and resolve incidents reported by business users within defined (SLAs)
• Perform code debugging to diagnose problems, implement temporary solutions, and coordinate permanent resolutions
• Monitor critical system processes and promptly address failures or irregularities

Skills & Experience

• Possess extensive experience with the Calypso Trading Platform, demonstrating a solid understanding of its underlying architecture, integration processes, and core functionalities.
• Familiar with configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting various modules within the Calypso Trading Platform. Their expertise also extends to managing integrations with other financial systems, optimizing platform performance, and supporting end-users to maximise operational efficiency.
• Should be highly skilled with Calypso APIs for Version 16 and above, applying their expertise to deliver effective solutions and improve treasury operations. Their experience supports smooth integration and reliable system performance.
• Demonstrates extensive expertise in Calypso frameworks, with hands-on experience across key components such as Reporting, Messaging, Accounting, Message Matching, Scheduled Tasks, Workflows, Engines and FOWS.
• Demonstrates in-depth functional knowledge of capital markets, including the core concepts, specialized terminologies, and detailed understanding of the complete trade lifecycle. This expertise spans a diverse array of asset classes—such as fixed income, credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange options—allowing for effective management and support of business operations.
• Should have a strong problem-solving mindset: The candidate should be able to quickly analyse and resolve complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. They are adaptable, proactive, and work well with others to implement both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within team and stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
