Software Requirements:
Proven experience with Java development (minimum 5 years).
Expertise in Calypso APIs, with a strong focus on Calypso v16 or above.
Familiarity with commodity asset class and trading processes.
Overall Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications using Calypso to support trading and risk management functions.
Customize Calypso functionalities, including scheduled tasks, reports, and engines.
Enhance and optimize existing Calypso configurations and workflows to improve efficiency.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Manage the processing of confirmations and payment notices within Calypso.
Conduct troubleshooting and problem resolution for any issues related to Calypso applications.
Generate and manage reports related to trade settlement, reconciliation, and overall trading processes.

Hands-on experience in commodities trading processes, including trade settlement and reconciliation.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements.
Develop, test, and deploy Calypso applications and customizations.
Monitor system performance and implement enhancements as needed.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
Prepare documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Provide support for production issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Java development or Calypso systems are a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
