Job SummaryThe Calibration Junior Technician supports the calibration, testing, and maintenance of measurement instruments and equipment. This role ensures that tools and devices operate accurately and comply with industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations. It is an entry-level position designed for individuals starting their careers in instrumentation, quality control, or engineering support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in calibrating instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, electrical meters, and dimensional tools
- Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Maintain calibration records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Support senior technicians in advanced calibration tasks and audits
- Ensure all equipment is labeled and tracked according to calibration schedules
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Help prepare calibration reports and certificates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the calibration lab/work area
Preferred Qualifications- Prior internship or hands-on experience in calibration or quality control
- Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025)
- Exposure to calibration software or asset management systems
