About the role :
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end data and analytics initiatives, including data modeling, pipelines, ingestion, and visualization development.
Youll coordinate across technical teams, business analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and high-quality outcomes.
This role is ideal for someone who understands data workflows and can drive alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
What Youll Do
Project Leadership & Delivery :
- Lead end-to-end project execution for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee daily project operations, including task prioritization, sprint planning, and milestone tracking.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and issues proactively, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
- Ensure adherence to Calfuss project management standards and best practices.
Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate between data engineering, data visualization, and business analysis teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Manage workstreams involving data modelling, pipeline creation, ingestion, and dashboard/reporting development.
- Support business analysts in working with client business teams to gather requirements and validate deliverables.
- Facilitate regular sync-ups and governance meetings with client leaders and Calfus management.
- Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes through structured reporting and presentations.
Data & Analytics Focus
- Understand core concepts of data modelling, ETL processes, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to effectively manage technical teams.
- Support prioritization of data requests and enhancements based on business impact and technical feasibility.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with defined governance standards.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain project documentation including plans, RAID logs, and performance dashboards.
- Drive process improvements for delivery efficiency and transparency.
- Mentor junior project team members on agile and data delivery best practices.
On Your First Day, Well Expect You to Have :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management in data & analytics environments.
- Proven experience managing projects involving data pipelines, data modelling, and visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of agile and hybrid delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
