Position: CAE Meshing Engineer (TK312SF RM 4145)
Job Description
Knowledge of vehicle structures (BIW, chassis, assemblies). Good knowledge of automotive standards for Crash/NVH/Durability load cases.
Tools & Software : Strong experience in CAE tools (Hyper Mesh, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, Nastran/Ansa).
Education : B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech
Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies
- Create high-quality FE meshes for components and full vehicle models.
- Perform geometry cleanup and mid-surface extraction.
- Ensure mesh quality as per standards (aspect ratio, skewness, warpage).
- Assign appropriate element types (shell, solid, beam, etc.).
- Define connections (spot welds, seams, bolts, adhesives).
- Prepare models for different analyses (crash, durability, NVH).
- Work closely with CAE analysts to meet model requirements.
- Adhere to project timelines and delivery milestones.
- Maintain meshing guidelines and documentation.
- Support model debugging and updates based on feedback.
- Participate in Technical reviews with all stakeholders.
- Support to FE Assembly creation.
- Communication with customers & internal/external teams for technical discussion
