Job Title: CAE Analyst - Interiors Trims
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled CAE Analyst specializing in Interior Trims to join our team. This role involves providing support for day-to-day CAE requests and setting up interior models for various analysis requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior safety analysis and expertise in plastic modeling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Provide Interiors Analysis support for day-to-day CAE requests.
- Set up Interiors model for respective analysis requirements.
- Conduct interior safety analysis and manage both standard and non-standard load cases on trims as per customer inputs.
- Demonstrate expertise in plastic modeling techniques, connections, and material card selection.
- Utilize solvers such as Ls-Dyna and Nastran proficiently.
- Debug analysis models and identify root causes of issues.
- Simulate non-standard load cases using a realistic approach.
- Identify potential issues and develop creative solutions.
- Correlate results in a realistic and professional manner.
- Enhance capabilities by adhering to existing methods and processes.
- Develop or improve tools to enhance CAE efficiency.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Ls-Dyna and Nastran solvers.
- Expertise in plastic modeling techniques and connections.
- Strong understanding of plastic material card selection and related terminologies.
- Ability to handle standard and non-standard load cases.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in interior safety analysis is an advantage.
- Capability to script new tools or enhance existing ones for improved efficiency.
